Breeding

A pelagic egg scatterer that spawns in pairs at dusk. It has not been bred regularly in home aquariums.

Good to know

Not reliably reef safe, as it may nip soft and stony coral polyps and clam mantles. Can bicker with other angelfish, so add it last to an established tank.
