Breeding
A cave spawner in which the male guards the eggs and larvae inside a tight tube or cave. It has been bred in aquariums but needs soft, warm, clean water and suitable caves, so it is not routine.
Good to know
Males defend caves against other bottom dwellers, so give one cave per fish. It was traded for years as L202 and is easily confused with similar lined Peckoltia species.
