Breeding
Like most corydoras it lays sticky eggs on glass or plants after the classic T-position embrace, often triggered by a cool water change. Spawning is fairly achievable in captivity, though adults will eat eggs unless they are removed.
Good to know
Use soft sand and keep the substrate clean, as sharp or dirty gravel damages the barbels. Often confused with similar spotted species such as Corydoras sp. and C. leopardus in the trade.
