Breeding
Males guard eggs laid inside a snug cave and fan them until the young hatch. It has been bred in aquaria, but success depends on suitable caves, warm clean water and well-conditioned adults.
Good to know
Males can squabble over caves, so provide one per fish. It is easily confused with other banded Peckoltia species, so check the L-number when buying.
