Breeding
A non-annual killifish that lays eggs a few at a time among fine-leaved or floating plants or spawning mops over several weeks. The eggs hatch in about 10 to 14 days, and breeding is easy if the eggs or fry are moved away from the adults.
Good to know
It jumps well, so a tight-fitting lid is essential. Adults will eat fry and very small tankmates.
