Breeding
A cave spawner in which the male guards the eggs and wrigglers inside a narrow cave until they are free-swimming. It has been bred in aquaria, but warm, well-oxygenated, clean water and suitable caves are needed.
Good to know
Males can squabble over caves, so provide one per fish. Often confused with other vermiculated Peckoltia and Hypancistrus such as L-030 look-alikes.
