Breeding
An egg scatterer that spawns among fine-leaved plants, often in the morning, and the adults will eat the eggs. Breeding is fairly easy in a separate tank with a mesh or plant cover, and the fry hatch in about a day and need infusoria at first.
Good to know
Very active swimmers that can nip long-finned tankmates if kept in small groups, and they are good jumpers so a tight lid is needed.
