Breeding
An egg scatterer that spawns readily over fine leaved plants or mesh in soft, slightly acidic water. Adults eat the eggs, so remove them after spawning; the fry hatch in a day or two and take infusoria and then baby brine shrimp.
Good to know
Very active and needs a long tank with a tight lid as it jumps well. Its boisterous feeding can stress slow or long finned tankmates.
