Avichang Killifish
Fundulopanchax avichang
Also known as avichang killi, fundulopanchax avichang, aphyosemion avichang

This is a stocky Gabonese killifish described in 2007. Males are bluish with red spots and a red and yellow edge to the fins, while females are much plainer. Killifish hobbyists keep it for its bright male colours and because it is rarely seen outside specialist circles.

Breeding
It lays eggs on spawning mops or fine plants near the bottom or among the plants, and the eggs can be left in the tank or kept on damp peat for a few weeks before hatching. Breeding is fairly straightforward for experienced killifish keepers, and the fry take newly hatched brine shrimp.
Good to know
Males can be quarrelsome with one another and the fish will eat very small tankmates. Keep the tank tightly covered as it jumps well.
