Breeding
A livebearer that breeds readily, with females giving birth to small batches of fully formed fry roughly every four weeks. Dense plants or moss let many fry survive without any special effort.
Good to know
Hybridises freely with common guppies, so keep them apart if you want pure stock. Its wild habitat is very restricted and threatened, which makes well-kept pure lines valuable.
