Breeding
Captive breeding is not well recorded. Related pyrrhulinas lay their eggs on leaves, and the male guards them, so a similar approach in soft, acidic water is likely to work.
Good to know
It is rarely seen in the trade and is easily confused with other Pyrrhulina species, so check the identification carefully. It will jump, so keep the tank covered.
