Breeding
An egg scatterer that gives no parental care and will eat its own eggs. Spawning is possible in a separate tank with fine-leaved plants or mesh, and the adults should be taken out afterwards.
Good to know
It grows larger than many rasboras and is a fast swimmer, so give it plenty of open space and a lid. Fish sold under this name are often confused with Rasbora paviana and other similar species.
