Breeding
Not known to be bred regularly in home aquariums, and most specimens in the trade are wild caught or rare. It is presumed to be an egg scatterer like related species.
Good to know
Grows fairly large and becomes territorial with other bottom dwellers, and it may eat small fish at night. It is easily confused with other spotted Synodontis, so check identity before buying.
