Breeding
It spawns in the typical cory manner, with females placing adhesive eggs on glass or plants after a T-position embrace, often triggered by cooler water changes. Captive breeding is achieved but less often than with common corys, and fry need clean water and fine foods.
Good to know
Often confused with Corydoras sterbai, which has a shorter snout and bright orange pectoral spines, and with other long-nosed spotted species. Needs fine sand and clean water to protect its barbels.
