Breeding
It scatters its eggs and gives no parental care. Breeding in home aquariums has rarely, if ever, been recorded.
Good to know
It grows fairly large and is a strong swimmer, so it needs a long tank with good flow and plenty of oxygen. Wild-caught fish can be mistaken for other Cyclocheilichthys species.
