Also known as gold ring danio, goldring danio, burmese gold-ring danio, danio sp. 'hikari', tinwin's danio, golden ring danio, danio tinwinii, ダニオ・ティンウィニ, 金环斑马鱼

A tiny, slim danio with a golden body covered in rows of dark spots, each ringed with gold, and fins edged in orange in males. It is kept for its lively shoaling behaviour and bright colour in small planted aquariums, and it suits cooler setups well.

Breeding
An egg scatterer that spawns readily among fine-leaved plants or moss, with no parental care and a habit of eating its own eggs. Breeding is fairly easy in a separate tank with a mesh or dense moss, and the tiny fry need infusoria or similar first foods.
Good to know
Very small and easily outcompeted or eaten, so keep only with other small, peaceful fish. Keep the tank covered, as like many danios it can jump.
