Breeding
Pairs spawn into a soft peat substrate, and the eggs are then stored slightly damp for several months before wetting to hatch. It is not difficult for those used to annual killifish, but the drying stage needs patience and care.
Good to know
Males are rough with each other and with females, so give cover and avoid housing several males in a small tank. Lifespan is short by nature, so keep breeding going to maintain a line.
