Breeding
Pairs scatter a few eggs daily over fine-leaved plants or spawning mops over several weeks. Eggs can be collected and hatched separately, and the fry need very fine live foods; breeding is fairly easy but output is low.
Good to know
Very small and short-lived, so keep only with tiny peaceful tankmates and avoid fin nippers. Wild-caught stock is sometimes confused with other small Pseudomugil species.
