Breeding
An egg scatterer that gives no parental care; adults will eat eggs. Spawning in captivity is seldom reported, but a separate tank with fine-leaved plants or mesh and soft, acidic water gives the best chance.
Good to know
Rarely sold under its own name and easily confused with similar striped Rasbora species, so identification of imported stock can be uncertain.
