Breeding
An egg scatterer that gives no parental care, laying eggs among fine plants or moss. Spawning in soft, slightly acidic water is achievable, but adults should be removed afterwards as they will eat the eggs.
Good to know
Often confused with similar striped rasboras such as Rasbora trilineata or R. einthovenii, so check identity when buying. Keep a tight lid, as active rasboras can jump.
