Breeding
An egg scatterer that sticks eggs on plants and glass much like Corydoras, often after a cool water change. It has been bred in captivity but is less regularly spawned than common corys.
Good to know
Needs a soft sand substrate and clean, well-oxygenated water; sharp gravel damages its barbels. It is easily confused with other Aspidoras species in the trade.
