Breeding
It spawns in the typical cory fashion, with the female holding eggs between her pelvic fins and sticking them to glass or plants after a T-position embrace. Breeding is fairly easy in captivity, often triggered by a cool water change, and the eggs hatch in about four days.
Good to know
Recent revisions of the genus moved this species from Corydoras to Brochis, so both names are in use. It is easily confused with similar spotted species such as Corydoras leopardus and C. similis, so check stock carefully.
