Breeding
It lays sticky eggs on glass and plants after the usual cory T-position spawning, often triggered by a cool water change. It has been bred in home aquariums but rarely, as the fish is seldom available.
Good to know
Recent studies moved many Corydoras into revived genera, so it may be labelled under either name; it is easily confused with similar spotted corys. Use soft sand so the barbels are not damaged.
