Breeding
It breeds in the typical cory fashion, with females placing sticky eggs on glass or plants after a T-position embrace, often triggered by a cool water change. Spawning is reported less often than in common species but is achievable in a dedicated tank.
Good to know
Often confused with Corydoras similis, which has a similar tail spot but a different body pattern. Fine sand and clean water help protect its sensitive barbels.
