Breeding
Like other corydoras it lays sticky eggs on glass or plants after a T position embrace, often triggered by a large cool water change. Spawning is achievable in captivity but this species is seen less often than common cories, so success reports are limited.
Good to know
Keep on soft sand so the barbels are not damaged, and be aware that wild caught imports can be confused with similar spotted cories; the genus is being revised so the name may change.
