Breeding
It lays sticky eggs on glass, plants or decor after the typical Corydoras T-position courtship, often triggered by a cooler water change. Captive spawning is achievable with well-conditioned adults, though fry need clean water and very fine foods.
Good to know
Use soft sand or smooth fine gravel to protect its barbels, and avoid copper-based medicines. It is easily confused with the similar Corydoras melanotaenia and other spotted Colombian species.
