Breeding
It scatters adhesive eggs on glass and plants in the usual Corydoras fashion, often after a cool water change. Captive spawning has been reported now and then but is less common than with smaller species.
Good to know
It grows bigger than most cories, so give it room and soft sand to dig in. It is sometimes confused with Corydoras aeneus and the old Brochis species, and recent catfish revisions may move its genus again.
