Seuss's Cory
Corydoras seussi
Also known as seussi cory, seuss cory, brochis seussi, seussi corydoras, corydoras seusi, c. seussi, コリドラス・セウシー

This is a stocky, long-snouted cory with a pale body covered in small dark spots and a dark blotch below the dorsal fin. It is kept as a peaceful, active bottom dweller for soft sand community tanks and is valued by cory enthusiasts as a less common species.

Breeding
It scatters adhesive eggs on glass and plants in the usual cory T-position spawning, often after a cool water change. It has been bred in aquariums but rather irregularly, and the fry need clean water and very fine foods.
Good to know
Recent revisions of the family moved many long-snouted species around, so it may be labelled Brochis seussi, and it looks similar to other spotted long-nosed corys. Use fine sand so the barbels are not damaged.
