Breeding
It spawns in the typical cory T-position, with the female carrying a few eggs between her pelvic fins and sticking them to glass or plants, up to about 100 eggs in total. Breeding is possible in captivity, often triggered by cool water changes, but the species is less often bred than common corys.
Good to know
Now placed in the genus Hoplisoma, though still sold as Corydoras evelynae. Keep it on soft sand to protect its barbels, and note that similar spotted corys are often sold under this name.
