Breeding
Spawns in typical cory T-position, with the female sticking adhesive eggs to glass and plants, often triggered by a cool water change. It breeds fairly readily in captivity and the fry are easy to raise on microfoods.
Good to know
Comes from subtropical waters, so avoid keeping it permanently warm with discus or similar species. Use soft sand to protect its barbels.
